People on the move: Who's moving up at Zillow, Anywhere and more 

The latest movers: Beverly Jackson at Zillow, Egbert Perry at Anywhere, Jason Nicosia at BHGRE, Kevin Patsel at Compass, Christine Pappas at Keyes.

Beverly Jackson leading brand and marketing at Zillow

Beverly Jackson was recently hired as vice president of brand and product marketing at Zillow. Jackson will also lead the events and experiential marketing teams, which help bring Zillow's brand to life for its customers, partners and employees.

Jackson was most recently at Twitter, where she oversaw global consumer marketing and brand teams. She previously held executive positions at Activision Blizzard and MGM Resorts.

Jackson was named one of Ad Age's Leading Women in 2022 and serves on the board of directors for Goodwill Industries.

Anywhere appoints Egbert Perry to board of directors

Anywhere Real Estate announced the appointment of Egbert L.J. Perry to its board of directors.

Perry is currently chairman and CEO of The Integral Group LLC, a real estate and community development and investment management firm. He previously served on the board of directors of Fannie Mae, including as board chairman until 2018.  

With this appointment, the Anywhere board now consists of 12 directors, 11 of whom are classified as independent directors.

"Egbert is a deeply respected and experienced business leader with extensive knowledge of the real estate and mortgage markets and corporate governance. He brings a wealth of expertise and experiences to our board, and we are fortunate to have him on the Anywhere board," said Michael J. Williams, chairman of the board at Anywhere Real Estate.

Jason Nicosia moves up at Better Homes and Gardens

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC announced the promotion of Jason Nicosia to the brand's leadership team. As senior vice president of franchise sales, Nicosia will lead the national sales team to support the brand's strategic growth goals.

Nicosia was most recently BHGRE's managing regional vice president for the East, and he previously served as the national vice president of mergers & acquisitions for Anywhere, providing succession and growth strategies for six real estate brands, including Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.

"Jason has built his career driving strategic growth at both established and startup companies across real estate verticals," said Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in a news release. "In just a short time, we've seen firsthand Jason's tenacity and dedication to growing the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate brand. His enthusiasm and commitment to achieving exceptional results are key drivers of his ability to lead his sales team to success. We are excited to promote Jason to this expanded role."

Kevin Patsel, Regional VP, Compass.

Kevin Patsel to head Northern California market for Compass

Kevin Patsel, who has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, was recently named regional vice president for Compass' Northern California operation.

The appointment was effective at the start of the year, according to a news release. The role had been vacant since the retirement of Anita Head. Patsel will oversee more than 5,000 agents across the San Francisco Bay Area, Tahoe, wine country and the Monterey peninsula.

"My focus will be to continue to enhance the culture of our agent community and make Compass one of the best places to work for our employees," says Patsel. "This new role is an extension of what I've been doing at Compass and what I love to do."

Prior to joining Compass, Patsel worked at Coldwell Banker and Vanguard Properties.

Christina Pappas, President, Keyes Group

Christina Pappas tapped as president of The Keyes Group

Christina Pappas was recently named the new president of the Keyes Company, an independent brokerage with more than 3,000 agents across 50 offices in Florida.

Pappas represents the brokerage's fourth generation of leadership as the firm nears a century of operations. Christina's father Mike Pappas, who has been with the company for the past 42 years, remains actively involved as CEO of Keyes.

Before joining Keyes in 2011, Pappas held sales roles at hospitality and residential real estate companies.
