Joni Shore Group joins Douglas Elliman in new office

Douglas Elliman Realty has opened a new office in Wellesley — its fourth Massachusetts location — and welcomes The Joni Shore Group.

Led by Joni Shore, an agent in the Greater Boston area for more than 36 years, the team includes her son Jon Shore as well as Morgan Guthrie, Stacy Rubin and Douglas Nahigian.

"We could not be more thrilled to further expand our presence in Massachusetts," says Scott Durkin, CEO at Douglas Elliman Realty. "Wellesley is an important market for us as our agents continuously help clients buy and sell properties throughout the Greater Boston area. We look forward to sharing in the future success of The Joni Shore Group."

Shore has exceeded $600 million in career sales volume and specializes in brokering all types of residential properties including historic homes, new construction and subdivisions which include some of the area's largest land transactions.

"We are confident that Douglas Elliman is the best home for our growing team," said Joni Shore. "We are excited to benefit from the powerhouse firm's first-class resources in public relations, technology and marketing to best serve our clients, no matter where their real estate journey takes them."

Billion-dollar team rejoins Realogics

The Robyn + Rachel Group has rejoined Realogics Sotheby's International Realty, with leaders Robyn Kimura Hsu and Rachel Schindler taking on the roles of senior global real estate advisors.

The Robyn + Rachel Group has generated more than $1.3 billion in career sales and $110 million in sales volume in 2021. The team was formerly with Compass and cited market factors and corporate restructuring as motivations for returning to RSIR. The team will be back in the company's Mercer Island, Washington, branch office, where Kimura Hsu and Schindler will reclaim their roles as founding members of the branch office.

In addition to their team leadership, the duo will take on new responsibilities. Schindler will join RSIR's Strategic Advisory Council for Business Development, and Kimura Hsu will be collaborating with the brokerage's land division and new developments team.

"We are obviously thrilled to welcome back Robyn and Rachel, and their team, to the very branch they helped envision in their own backyard on Mercer Island," says Dean Jones, president and CEO of RSIR. "They were certainly missed over the past year, and we are grateful that they prefer what we offer at Realogics Sotheby's International Realty to reunite our teams."

The Barron Team moves to Real in San Diego

The Barron Team, led by Emma Barron Lefkowitz and Brian Tague, has joined The Real Brokerage from Compass. The team's addition brings Real's agent count to more than 9,000.

Claiming a spot in the top 1% of agents serving San Diego County, the 15-member team was No. 1 in the region for four consecutive years while at Compass, according to a news release from Real. The team closed more than 150 real estate transactions valued at more than $200 million in 2022. Since joining Real earlier this month, the team has already signed seven new listings and brought eight transactions to escrow.

"Emma and Brian are two of the most respected agents in Southern California. They are true professionals and culture-carriers, and their addition will fuel immense growth opportunities for The Real Brokerage, said Sharran Srivatsaa, president of Real. "We couldn't be more excited to welcome them and the rest of the Barron team to the Real family."

With nearly two decades of experience, Lefkowitz founded Barron Real Estate Group with her mother, longtime real estate broker Janice Barron, in 2014.

"The real estate industry is rapidly changing, and agents deserve a brokerage that is investing in the technology and resources that allow us to best serve our clients. The Real Brokerage is that brokerage," said Lefkowitz.

The Prince Team signs on with The Corcoran Group

New York City real estate agent Prince Dockery, known for his expertise in the downtown Manhattan market, has brought his team to The Corcoran Group.

Formerly at Compass, Dockery and his team have completed more than 800 sale and rental transactions netting more than $500 million in sales volume throughout their 15 years in the industry.

"We are overjoyed to have Prince and his team join Corcoran, as he has been making waves in the industry for many years," said Pamela Liebman, president and CEO of Corcoran.

"His ambition is perfectly complemented by the many tools Corcoran offers, and there's no doubt this will be a rewarding partnership."
