eXp adds NY team with 200-plus agents; RE/MAX Key Properties merges with West + Main Homes Oregon; Nicole Reed & Associates gets Real; and more.

Team with more than 200 agents teams up with eXp

The formerly independent team has more than 200 agents and is based in Westchester County, New York. The team expects to generate more than $100 million in annual sales now that it is a part of eXp, according to a news release.

Grand Lux was founded in 2006 by Michael Levy.

"Michael Levy and his team have achieved tremendous success in one of the most competitive markets in the country. As part of this partnership, Grand Lux will consolidate its multiple offices into a central location in White Plains, New York in December.

RE/MAX Key Properties merges with West + Main Homes Oregon  

Family-owned RE/MAX Key Properties is growing its presence in Central Oregon, merging with a veteran-owned boutique brokerage that shares its vision of excellence.

"This move is a major upgrade of services and support," said Greg Fischer, Navy veteran and former owner of West + Main Homes Oregon. "With RE/MAX Key Properties we gain local, full-time support staff, state-of-the-art office space, and strong culture."

Fischer will bring years of experience with companies including Move, Inc., to his new role as head of technology. Ryan Buccola continues as broker/owner of RE/MAX Key Properties, a role he has held since buying the company in 2015. Cory Bettesworth continues as managing principal broker. Ann Gurley will focus on training and marketing initiatives as agent ambassador.

The merger brings 30 agents to RE/MAX Key Properties, raising their total agent count to nearly 90 and representing "an extraordinary amount of expertise in a variety of industry niches," Buccola said. We're excited to welcome our newest agents into the mix."

Nicole Reed Real Estate teams up with The Real Brokerage

An eight-agent team in the Richmond, Virginia area recently joined The Real Brokerage.

Based in Chester, Virginia, Nicole Reed Real Estate & Associates serves the Richmond, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and the Hampton Roads metro areas as well as Atlanta and its surrounding areas.

Nicole Reed began her real estate career in 2016 after 16 years in the banking industry. The team has sold more than 300 homes valued at more than $80 million since 2020.

"We are thrilled to welcome Nicole and her team to Real," Real President Sharran Srivatsaa said. "Nicole has leveraged her career in finance to provide clients with a unique skill set that will be even more valuable as buyers become more discerning as they select an agent. New York group joins Coldwell Banker

A broker and four agents have decided to join Coldwell Banker Warburg, which is based in New York City.

Broker Stanley Ginsberg, who has more than 35 years experience in the Manhattan real estate industry, is joining the firm along with agents Petar Vojvodic, Pia Elbling, Kristina Tichner and Akilah Williams. 

Ginsberg formerly owned Delson Ginsberg Real Estate, a boutique agency. Vojvodic is a former diplomat who is fluent in six languages; Elbline is a 15-year veteran of the New York City real estate industry, Tichner is a Long Island native with a background in sales and recruitment; Williams studied electrical engineering before getting into the real estate market.

Top Dog Properties joins Century 21

Top Dog Properties, a luxury home market brokerage based in Colorado, recently became affiliated with Century 21.

Founded in 2021 by current broker/owner Gregory Peterson, the brokerage is in higher-end markets including Aspen, Vail and Denver. The team can also assist with commercial real estate and rental investment properties.

Peterson has plans to expand the firm into Arizona, Texas and Florida, as well as Mexico. His goal is to reach 150 sales professionals in the new future.

"Our affiliation with Century 21 Real Estate was ultimately inspired by the freedom that the brand can provide," Peterson said in a news release. "It provides us with not only the means to attract new agents locally, but it also provides international referral avenues to help us grow our operation at our desired pace. We've specifically had our sights set on growing south of both the Colorado and U.S. borders, and we believe that this affiliation is what will finally provide us with the keys to make that a reality." 

The Agency launches Massachusetts office

Global real estate brokerage The Agency recently opened an office in Marblehead, Massachusetts, which will serve the local markets including Boston and Cape Cod.

The Marblehead office will be led by Michael Cannuscio, who has more than 20 years of real estate brokerage experience.

"We are excited to announce the opening of our newest office location in Marblehead, further extending The Agency's global reach into this historic coastal community," said Mauricio Umansky, CEO and Founder of The Agency. Jorge Fernandez joins SERHANT.

Miami agent Jorge Fernandez, former state director for the Florida Association of Realtors, recently joined the real estate brokerage SERHANT.

Ferndanez was a founding agent of Compass Miami and played a pivotal role in establishing the firm's presence in the region, according to a news release. In 2023 he had more than $45 million in sales volume.

SERHANT. was founded in September 2020 by Ryan Serhant as a mobile first brokerage that has an in-house film studio. The firm has doubled in size each year since its founding and is now operating in eight states.
