Editor's note: The brokerage business is a busy one, with frequent moves, mergers and milestones. Here we highlight some of the latest activity among brokerages across the U.S.
New Jersey team joins eXp
Jeff Quintin is bringing his 15-agent team to eXp after eight years at Keller Williams. The Quintin Group, founded in 1992, serves southern New Jersey and the Philadelphia metro area.
The team's combined sales volume exceeds $1 billion, with more than 5,000 transactions spanning vacation properties, primary residences, new construction, investments and commercial properties. Among Quintin's clients are athletes with the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Flyers.
Quintin said the decision to join eXp following lengthy stints at KW and Berkshire Hathaway was largely financial, with eXp offering lower operating costs and more revenue streams — but "this move isn't just about business," he noted, highlighting a collaborative culture and the ability to build his personal brand as other drivers.
"eXp provides the freedom to focus on my passion for coaching agents, growing my team, and creating a sustainable exit strategy," Quintin added.
Leo Pareja, eXp Realty CEO, described Quintin as "the kind of top-tier talent that thrives in eXp's innovative ecosystem."
Sotheby's Oklahoma affiliate acquires Kansas City firm
Oklahoma's only Sotheby's Realty franchise — Sage Sotheby's International Realty — has expanded its reach into neighboring Kansas and Missouri with the acquisition of Element Sotheby's International Realty.
Founded in 2014 by Andy Bash, Element serves the Kansas City metropolitan area and is "an extraordinary company that aligns perfectly with our vision and values," said Rob Allen, CEO of Sage Sotheby's International Realty.
"This acquisition strengthens our ability to empower agents with best-in-class tools and resources while elevating the real estate experience in Kansas City," Allen added.
"This partnership brings together two companies that share a passion for innovation, professionalism, and making a positive impact on their communities," said Bash. "It's an exciting opportunity to enhance what we offer in Kansas City while benefiting from Sage's leadership and resources. Together, we're poised to set new benchmarks for real estate in the region."
Element will now operate under the Sage brand. Sage was founded in 2017 and affiliated with Sotheby's Realty in 2019.
