Corporate evolution
In the breakup of the Cendant Corporation in 2006, real estate elements were combined to form Realogy. Initially purchased by a private equity group, Realogy went public in 2012, raising $1.08 billion. The following year, the company moved its headquarters from Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ to Madison, NJ. Ryan Schneider was named director, CEO and president of Anywhere (then Realogy) in late 2017. In June 2022, the company completed a rebranding under the new name Anywhere Real Estate Inc. to highlight its "emphasis on building a more simplified, digitized, and integrated home buying and selling experience for any consumer, anywhere."
Anywhere is the parent company to some of the most well-known real estate brands in the country, including Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate, Coldwell Banker, the Corcoran Group, ERA Real Estate and Sotheby's International Realty. Anywhere's franchise group is known as Anywhere Brands. Its brokerage group is branded as Anywhere Advisors and its title, mortgage and insurance businesses fall under the umbrella of Anywhere Integrated Services.
The company opened its renovated headquarters in July 2022. Dubbed The Madison Hub, the newly designed space features no permanent offices for anyone, including top execs, and focuses on collaborative spaces.

Charitable efforts
The Realogy Charitable Foundation provides fundraising coordination and guidance to Realogy employees and affiliated agents who volunteer their time in local chapters. Anywhere provides eight paid hours per year of volunteer time and encourages employees to participate in regional events or organize their own to support the charity of their choice. Anywhere also partners with Magee-Womens Research Institute, the largest research institute in the U.S. dedicated to women's health.
