Career journey
After a successful career as an agent with Fox & Carskadon in the 1980s, Blefari joined Contempo Realty Group where he became a partner. Contempo was acquired by Realogy (now Anywhere) in 1997, and after his 5-year non-compete agreement expired, Blefari founded Intero Real Estate Services. In 2014, Berkshire Hathaway bought Intero and installed Blefari as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. In January of 2019, he was named CEO of the parent company, HomeServices of America.
