Indiana's top C21 franchise appoints new VP of marketing; The Agency expands globally with new offices in Quebec and Portugal.

Indiana's C21 Scheetz announces new VP of Marketing
Century 21 Scheetz, the brand's leading brokerage in Indiana and one of its top five franchises nationally, has appointed Adam Bauer as its new vice president of marketing.
Bauer brings over a decade of strategic marketing experience and will focus on strengthening the Century 21 Scheetz brand and supporting agents and clients in the greater Indianapolis area.
"Adam's addition to our team marks an exciting chapter as we continue to enhance both our agent support and client experiences," Tracy Hutton, CEO of Century 21 Scheetz, said in the announcement. "His strategic marketing expertise will elevate our brand and empower our agents to excel in competitive markets, ensuring exceptional service and value for our clients."
Bauer previously served as senior vice president of marketing operations at HomeSmart, where he helped expand the company's footprint and facilitated a successful IPO filing in 2022.
In a prior role, Bauer spent over five years leading digital marketing at Howard Hanna Real Estate.
Century 21 Scheetz has nine offices and more than 325 agents serving the Central Indiana region.
The Agency opens new offices in Quebec, Portugal
Global real estate brokerage The Agency has launched a new office in Laval, Quebec, expanding its network in Canada, the company announced this week. Additionally, the company broadened its European footprint with the opening of offices in the Portuguese cities Vilamoura and Cascais.
The Agency continues to focus on global expansion, having added 12 new offices in the first quarter of the year. In addition to the U.S. and Canada, The Agency has a presence in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe.
The Agency Laval
With the addition of The Agency Laval, the brokerage company now boasts 22 offices across Canada, with coverage in Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec.
The Laval office will be managed by industry veteran John Faratro, who is also managing partner of The Agency Montreal. Faratro brings three decades of experience and a passion for Montreal's unique real estate market, the company said in the announcement.
Faratro, a Montreal native and top-producing agent in the city, has also been involved in more than $150 million worth of local development projects and commercial real estate deals.
"We're thrilled to introduce The Agency in Laval, enhancing our commitment to exceptional service and innovative marketing," said CEO and Founder Mauricio Umansky. Executive Vice President Jim Ramsay emphasized the importance of partnering with top professionals like Faratro.
The Agency Vilamoura and Cascais
In Portugal, Managing Partner Ayres Neto — who also operates The Agency Lisbon, the firm's first office in the country — will run the new offices in Vilamoura and Cascais.

A native of Brazil, Neto is proficient in Portuguese, Spanish and English, and leads a team of real estate professionals from over 20 countries who are collectively fluent in over 20 languages. Neto has received more than 30 individual awards for his performance and sales throughout his career.
