Career journey
Bailey has worked in most areas of the real estate industry, including as a certified real estate brokerage manager, accredited buyer representative and certified distressed property expert. A licensed real estate agent for more than 25 years, Bailey spent 12 years at RE/MAX before leaving in 2012 for leadership positions at other companies. He served as vice president at Trulia/Zillow, and president and CEO of Century 21, returning to RE/MAX in 2019 as chief customer officer at RE/MAX. He became president in 2021, and was also named CEO in January 2022. As president and CEO, Bailey is making "innovation and modernization" a priority, according to the company website.
