Editor's note: Technology is a driving force in real estate. From startups to established players, tech companies are constantly innovating, growing and forging partnerships. Here we highlight some of the latest news about the companies that help power the industry.

Offerpad launches new portal for agent partners

Offerpad, a leader in the iBuying space, has introduced Powered By Offerpad (PBO), an online portal for agents in its Pro and Max programs. Launched in Q2 2024, the portal centralizes tools and resources for agents, enhancing their ability to manage listings, track transactions and communicate with Offerpad support, the company said in an announcement.

The new PBO portal offers features such as listing and lead management, real-time updates on listings and transactions, and direct communication with Offerpad support for assistance with the portal and programs.

"Through our innovative use of technology, we aim to simplify transactions and partnerships across the real estate industry," said Brigham Weight, VP of Business Development at Offerpad.

The portal aligns with Offerpad's broader efforts to expand its agent partner program, which has seen a 37% increase in requests quarter-over-quarter and accounted for 23% of all real estate acquisitions in the first half of 2024, the company said. Since its relaunch in early 2024, the Agent Partner Program has grown significantly, with strong interest in cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, and Orlando.

Rechat partners with Toronto's Peerage Realty

Rechat, which offers a suite of real estate technology products, has announced a new partnership with Peerage Realty Partners, a Toronto-based firm affiliated with Sotheby's International Realty.

Gavin Swartzman, CEO of Peerage Realty Partners, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that the company is "delighted to enhance our technological capabilities and provide our advisors with industry-leading tools."

The collaboration will integrate Rechat's Experience Management Platform across all Peerage Realty brokerages, offering marketing, transaction management and client engagement tools to its agents and brokers. Rechat aims to streamline operations with its all-in-one platform.

Shayan Hamidi, Rechat CEO, highlighted the goal of empowering real estate professionals with AI-driven technology to excel in the competitive market.

Audience Town rolls out analytics platform for builders

Audience Town, a real estate marketing analytics company, has introduced a new paid search feature designed to provide homebuilders with detailed insights into their marketing efforts, the company announced. This functionality offers new access to homebuyer data and attribution analysis, revealing who clicked, saw and ultimately bought a new home.

Key features of Audience Town's Paid Search Analytics include:

  • Consumer Insights: Provides data on key attributes of users engaging with specific keywords, such as household income and moving likelihood.

  • Comprehensive Analysis: In addition to website traffic, assesses search campaigns, keywords and CRM data.

  • Budget Optimization: Helps homebuilders allocate marketing budgets more effectively to boost traffic, tours, leads and sales.

  • Sales Attribution: Tracks the customer journey and attributes sales to marketing efforts at the community, ZIP code, and keyword levels.

"This is the first-ever analytics platform designed to help home builders know which half of their advertising is wasted and actually do something about it," Ed Carey, founder and CEO of Audience Town said in the announcement. "Home Builders are asking for savings and efficiencies in a slower market, and they need efficient marketing technologies that can attribute which lead sources and keywords drive actual home sales."

Audience Town plans to further develop its attribution features this summer to trace home sales back to specific marketing channels and lead sources.

Rexdat to offer consolidated listing platform

A proptech startup has announced the development of a centralized platform designed to streamline real estate services for MLSs, brokerages, appraisers and associations.

Rexdat is set to go live on August 16 — just one day prior to the deadline for the new industry practice changes — and aims to address inefficiencies and outdated practices by consolidating property listings and data into one unified system.

The platform will start with a free tier for the first three months, followed by subscription plans ranging from $9.99 to $29.99 per month, the company said. The subscription-based service will aim to enhance transparency and simplify transactions, offering a single source for all property data. Rexdat's platform eliminates the need for multiple MLS subscriptions and reduces costs for real estate professionals by providing consistency and ease of access, the company says.

"Our platform resolves issues caused by fragmented MLS systems and outdated technology," Anvesh Chakravartula, founder and CEO of Rexdat, said in the announcement. "We provide a centralized source of truth for property listings, fostering collaboration and reducing costs."
